The Nostalgia Tag

Hello everybody,

How are you all?…I never know how to start a postttt 😦 Anyway, I am back with a new tag! I’m sorry if you’re starting to get fed up a bit because I’m posting so many tags!

This tag was created by the amazing dewdrops0213! I love this tag and please go and check her blog out (after you’ve read this post) because it is incredible and she is so lovely! I can’t express how nice she is so pleaseeee go and say hi to her! She tagged everyone so I decided to do this. This tag was created for all of us to relate to the ‘good old days’ and I honestly think that this is such a cute idea!

Rules:

1.) Make sure to thank the person who tagged you and leave a link to their blog

2.)Answer all of the questions, if you don’t know just leave the question.

3.) Remember to copy and paste the lame picture and rules!

4.) Have a good time>:D

5.) Tag as many people as you want! You are never limited.

  1.  What are some of the tv shows you remember watching?

Hmm…I definitely remember Dora the Explorer (I used to think she was really cool)…..Oh I used to watch Teletubbies but my dad thought they were stupid and I had to face a lecture of how stupid they are before I could watch any of it. I remeber Big Time Rush was really popular…but I didn’t like it. To be honest, I preffered playing with ma dolls!

2.  What were the classic movies?

I remeber I watched the Toy Story and The Parent Trap. I LOVED the film How The Grinch Stole Christmas (because it was Christmassy *duh*) And….I really liked the Harry Potter films, although I was quite young at the time when the first couple of films were released I watched them when I was a bit older and I’m still in love!

2b: movies you remember watching?

All of the ones above and I can’t remeber many….oh yes Chicken Little and….sorry my mind just went blank. I genuinely have no idea 🙂 Oh wait I loved Disney films!

3. Best memories about being little?

I guess the best memories are that you didn’t have to go to school. I mean you did, but you literally didn’t do anything at all much. Also, you could dress up in princess dresses and have bedrooms overflowing with toys. Everyone seemed to think that you were cute and you didn’t have to tidy up or do much work at ALL. I think if you did something bad most people seemed to forgive you cause you were little. And now it’s such a hard life…I really want to be little again…:)

4. Some of the things you did when you were little?

I used to build soooo many dens. Like I collected every single blanket and pillow that my family owned and I build little houses in which I hid from my mum and pretended I was Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother. I also used to draw on the windows that were cloudy (is ‘cloudy’ the right word?!) Oh and I LOVED using my plastic children’s cutlery and dishes! I pretended I was all grown up because I was ‘cooking’ using my fake pans and forks etc. I also ruined half my mum’s high heels because I was trying to walk in them. Oh and I put my dad’s jeans on and they were twice the size of me. Basically I loved trying on grown up’s clothes (yes I know I was a weird child – actually ‘weird’ is an understatement)

5. Some philosophy from your childish “Socrates”. Jk just list some things that you used to think.

I used to think that there was a massive shop in the clouds where all the babies were sold. I even told my mum how I cost a lot of money because I was the best baby on offer *modest much* My mum had to act along and ‘ahh’ & ‘oooh’ at the right moments when I was trying to make her understand how babies were born. 🙂

6. Favorite toys?

BARBIES – their hair always ended up in a helpless tangled-ness. Also I thought Babries were human and would grow their hair back so I cut all of it off and it never grew back. I also loved BabyBorn dolls. Cause I thought they looked like real babies and I pretended I was a mother. Of course I also loved stuffed toys of all sort and I used to pretend I was their babysitter (which techinically I was) and yeah…

7.games that you played?

I had a toy kitchen just like dewdrops0213 and I used to pretend to cook. I also played mum & daughter with my dolls. I pretended I was a model and dressed up in my mum’s clothes, I’m sure she was very happy about that. Then I pretended I was a designer and used some of my mum’s clothes to make my Barbie’s some clothes – my mum was over the moon to find me cutting up her clothes.

7. Make up your own question and answer here if u want to lol. – Did you have any crushes as a child?

I know that’s a rubbish question but I couldn’t think of a good one. Nope, I hated pretty much every boy – except for my dad, my uncle, my brother and my grandad. Once this boy came into school with white roses to give to me because apparntly he liked me. His mum was there all happy and stuff. My teacher called me (I was like 4) and said that there was a visitor. I was so embarassed that I took the flowers stuffed them in my locker (we had these lockers where we kept our coats) and ran away. That boy never approached me again. I did mumble a thanks though although I wasn’t grateful at ALL. Because for the next month everybody came up to me and asked me if it was true and they were like ‘ooooh’ and I was like ‘aahhh’. Seriously, I was so embarrased. From then on, I hated surprises.
